Privacy

This policy covers the Uptrig marketing website at uptrig.com and the hosted Uptrig application. Self-hosted installs are run on your own infrastructure and are your responsibility; nothing from them reaches us.

What this website collects

Nothing of its own. uptrig.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts. It is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs (IP address, time, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention.

What the hosted app stores

If you use Uptrig Cloud, we store what the product needs to work:

  • Your sign-in email and a securely hashed password.
  • The workflows you build, their versions, and the connections to your providers.
  • Provider credentials, encrypted at rest with a key we hold separately, and never shown again in the interface.
  • The events you send us, the runs they start, and each delivery attempt — so you can see what happened and retry a failure.

How we use it

To deliver the messages you configure, to show you what happened, to keep the service secure, and to answer your support email. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who sees message content

To deliver a message, we send its content and the recipient's address to the providers you configured — your SMS gateway, your SMTP server, or your own HTTP endpoint. Those providers handle the message under their own terms. We do not send your data anywhere else.

Retention

Events, runs, and delivery attempts are deleted automatically after the retention window you set (30 days by default). Deleting a workflow or connection removes the related records. Write to us to have your account and its data deleted.

Security

Credentials are encrypted at rest, traffic is served over HTTPS, and sessions are protected by an HTTP-only cookie that state-changing requests must accompany with a CSRF token. No system is perfect; report a concern to the address below.
