Terms

These terms cover the Uptrig marketing website at uptrig.com and the hosted Uptrig application ("Uptrig Cloud"). By requesting access or using the service, you agree to them. If you self-host Uptrig, the software runs on your own infrastructure and is your responsibility.

What the service does

Uptrig receives events you send to a trigger URL and turns them into messages — SMS, email, or an HTTP request — using the connections and wording you configure. You decide what is sent, to whom, and through which provider; Uptrig carries it out and records what happened.

The beta

Uptrig Cloud is invite-only while we onboard our first shops. It is provided free of charge during this period and as is: features may change, and interruptions may happen. We will tell you before anything material changes.

Your responsibilities

  • Use the service lawfully, and only message people who expect to hear from you. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact each recipient.
  • Keep your API keys and provider credentials secure. Anyone with a key can send messages as you.
  • Make sure the data you send is accurate, and that your use complies with your own providers' terms.

Acceptable use

Do not use Uptrig to send spam, unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content, or to attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service. We may suspend an account that does.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, particularly during the beta. We may add, change, or remove features, and may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Uptrig is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for messages that a third-party provider fails to deliver. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and any dispute is subject to the courts of Nepal.
